Like we said in the previous song story... foster care is hard. Sometimes the hard needs to be embraced and other times we have to do everything in our power to keep moving into the next good thing. After saying our goodbyes we chose to honor the hard times while also leaning into the joy that came in the next season. It’s always a balance of both of those feelings, happy and sad. In “Breathe in Peace” we’re moving into the healing and peace that can come after a really hard time. It’s like the feeling of throwing open your windows on the first cool and refreshing day of spring. Even if you’re not a foster parent we hope you can hear this song and feel peace during this challenging year.
